Well I received a parking ticket today in LA on a street that has a parking restriction a mere 2 hours a week at a conspicuous time (11:30am-1:30pm) and the citation was written at 11:36am.
The main issue that I can bring to appeal is that the sign was covered in Graffiti and practically unreadable! (photos attached below) Yet, I'm not sure how to approach this yet due to my lackluster experience with the law. Any tips on how to approach this? I plan to mail in my appeal with attached pictures. My main concern is, are there any California Vehicle Codes or other laws in the state of California that could absolve me due to the markings on this sign? My vehicle was parked directly in front of it, does that hurt my case?
